auxilary fuse box

If you are gonna do this you need to go over to Mad electrical and read the thing there.

Dan doesn't like it but that's too damn bad. He's ignoring me, anyhow.

Especially read about bypassing the "full current" ammeter system and the bulkhead connector

http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/amp-gauges.shtml

The problems with the Mopar bulkhead connector and ammeter is that it was never designed for the kind of current that big fans and a water pump, even a hi perf. big fuel pump, along with stereos and other "stuff" draw for current. The stock system has to go through the bulkhead at least twice, and the ammeter is a poor design.

There are guys that have hacked up and converted to a so called "external shunt" ammeter, or just bypass it and go to a voltmeter.

Also, you will need a bunch larger alternator than the stocker.

Be sure what you are getting into on fans. A fan(s) that will cool a "big mota" in slow hot traffic draws a lot of current. There's a lot of B.S. out there in the "fan world."
