ummm, the guy that let him get away was Bill Clinton. If you look it up, they had him twice before 9-11 and they let him go. check it out.
On the plus side, by not capturing him for those 10 years, we were able t go to other countries and look for our enemies, so it work out that we didn't get him for so long. We got him and a bunch of his henchmen.

Senior administration officials didn't know where he was at until 2011... so I doubt the Bush administration could do anything really. Five years ago isn't a very long time.

They have accomplished what they wanted to and will undoubtedly continue. Hence the word TERRORism. Emphasis on terror because that's what they're good at.
Who knows he may have been tired of running and figured he'd go out in a blaze of glory that would spark his followers. He probably figured at his age he wouldn't live much longer any way.
That's all speculation any way.
I'm glad they took him out.
I would like to thank the military, intelligence agencies and the president for giving the order to go ahead with this mission.
And also thank are allies for their sacrifices in this war on terror.

Personally I'd also like to see BL's head paraded on the end of a spear but maybe we can use his death as a precursor to help get his followers wiped into a frenzy so that they'll come out of their hiding spots to make them easier targets.
How about spreading a rumor that says that before BL was buried at sea they rapped his bullet riddled body in a head to toe "pig hide" then kicked him overboard for the waiting sharks. That might do it eh.:twisted::twisted:
