I was thinking of simplifying it by using this:

Yes I have a larger alternator, did that.
this way I was thinking I could run what I need plus use it to feed the gauges in the car.
Wanted to put in a new harness in this year but It will have to put it on next years list.
This way I wont need to re wire all this again,just replace the original harness.
I have Not had a ton of problems,it's a 40 year old car.
