I have to agree that the slant block is an ideal boost candidate and likely less $$ to build than a V8.:happy3: The only disadvantage might be the steep gears ya gotta run with a /6.
Turbo slant six's do not need steep grears. They make brutal amounts of torque down low. I ran a 3.23 first...to much gear...ran out of engine. Tried a 2.94, went faster yet but ran out of engine again. Went to a 2.76 and went faster yet. New engine uses a 2.76 and went 122mph in the qtr with a 1.59 60'.
