I installed a set of hedman headers, with summit racing exhaust system and x-pipe. I also installed 215/60R14 in place of the 195/75R14 and now my car seems to be bottoming out on the drivers side collecting tube. Is there anything I can do to increase the height of the car without costing me a fortune?

Thanks in Advance - Jason

You can increase the front height by cranking the torsion bars up a bit. Chances are it is sagging a bit anyway. You will need an alignment performed if you mess with ride height though. Also might look weird if the rear is sagging as well... Those headers hang low though, price you pay with cheap headers... trust me I know.

Those tires also drop it ~3/4 in. They are a very small tire.

I want to run a 15 inch wheel what size do you suggest?

I guess it would depend on the wheel(width), what your setup is, and whether or not you would be willing to run different size tires front and rear.

For example I have 185/70R14 in the front and 235/60R14 in the rear on 14x7s. But I have no feedback because I have not driven it yet. Looks good though.... :)

The drivers side header bottoming out is a plague on most A-body headers. The only 2 street headers I know of that don't hang down like that are TTI's and Doug's but of course your looking at $600 for Doug's and at least $625 for TTI's. I have Hooker super comps on mine which are designed like your Hedmann's. I don't have a big problem with them bottoming out but I have 15 inch tires and wheels. It'll still bottom out on rural roads that have a pronounced crown in the middle. After 3 yrs. of driving it I pretty much keep a constant lookout for crowns in the road so I can avoid them. Like Dartboy said you just need to raise the car up. Just gotta look around and see what you can find in a 15" wheel and tire combo (or tall 14's) to get it raised up.
