65 'Cuda: Reverse thread wheels?!

Mopars used left hand lugs until 1970 on the driver's side of the car. (Remember: turn the lug wrench towards the rear of the car to loosen) They studs are marked "L" and "R" to clarify.

You must always tell any tire shops this. Some older places still know...newer places...not so much. I stay away from the new chains anyways after an idiot busted off my ralley wheel center trying to pry it off..even after I told them they don't pry off...I made them buy me a new one.

The idea was that if a lug nut/bolt was loose that they wouldn't come off. Theoretically they would tighten over time instead of loosen.
