I found out the hard way years ago when I bought my '57 Plymouth. I tried my damn hardest to get those bolts loose...wouldn't budge. That's when I noticed the "L" on each bolt head...
Prior to '62 (I believe) Mopars used lug bolts instead of studs and nuts.
