A Holley problem all should know about and Why Holley Tech S#@KS

I've heard of pull over, but never actually seen it on anything. That includes some Modified Tour circle track cars, motor plate drag cars of all makes, etc. The vast amjority of these cars have Holley products or various clones of them. If this was so prevalent I'd expect to see a lot more examples of this when engines are on dynos where they are rigid mounted and fuel and air carefully measured as they go in. I'm more inclined to say that it's an individual basis, and it may have more to do with some production units' quality than a defect of basic design. It's cool you figured it out and honestly I plan to make more of an effort to try to look for it.
I agree on the tech line people. They typically are not the high paid engineers but simply interested people that follow a scripted set of answers. It doesnt mater what company, what product. If the last name of the guy isnt the name of the manufacturer, or ends in "PHD", they will only be able to help on a basic level.
BTW, how quick is that Omni? I almost bought one of those blowers years ago...
