1963 Valiant V200 Wagon

wow. its been a while since ive posted any progress on the wagon. truth is, i havent made any. i gave my engine to a buddy back in november. he said he would make the adapter plate for me for the blower. but as with life things came up and it took him a little longer. i ended up talking to him in january, he told me he hadnt gotten to work on it. but he would get on it the next week. i told him it wasnt a big rush because i didnt have the money to buy all the other little items i needed. like the wideband, new carb etc. so before i knew it, april was here and i hadent heard from him. so i emailed him and told him i would be by last weekend to pick it up. i worded it nicely. i just told him i needed a project to work on so i figured i would do it myself. but he got a little wierd, telling me about how i told him i wasnt in a big rush. i guess 6 months to make a adapter is a big rush. but anyways, my engine is back home. i have undone what he did and am starting over from scratch. he had three adapters put together to get the correct angle. so i would have had 4 gaskets and the whole blower would have been sticking out of the hood. so i will redo that with a 1" thick alluminum plate that i will have milled down for the correct angle. im also a little bummed because he scratched up my custom made pulleys that i had anodized black, then he spray painted them black to hide the scratches. i will keep you guys posted as i get some work done. the plate should be in monday.
