What is the easiest way to repair a dash pad? It has the typical 1/2" cracks in the front corners and a 1" crack on the underside above the radio.

There are "dash caps" that cover the whole padded area for somewhere around $100.00

I have a cap but really don't like the fit but will use it as a last resort. I really don't have the $$$$ for a new one right now.

my thought is leave it alone untill you have the money to buy a new one, dont screw it up and make it look worse

Not that hard to do. put it on while you save money for the redo. I can give you some tips if you like.

Since were on the topic of dash caps, I have one but the sealant that came with it was hard. What can I use to bond the cap on to my dash that will hold up?

3M super weather strip and gasket sealer. Its in a black tube with red lettering. Paint shop should have it, maybe auto parts store. You've got about 20 min to play cures in 24.
