I've been looking at getting some electric exhaust cut outs for my Cuda but have heard some bad things about them. I almost went with QTP's but quickly retreated when I heard about the issues they had. I then thought abought Summits, cheap but is there a reason for that? I am getting real close to purchsing a set from Race Ready cut out through AUTO PARTS DEALER.COM for $381.16 shipped but would like to poll the audience first for thier opinion on this one?????

I helped install a set on a early 80's camaro at the shop I was at, they were neat because you flip a switch and they open or close. but we couldn't get them to stop leaking on the pipe where they cut out. I believe they where the butterfly type

I have a set of Badlanzhpe on my 72 Swinger and don't have any problems. One thing is I spent the extra money for the better switch. Go to his web site www.badlanzhpe.com John

I have these on my demon and they don't want to close very easily have to tap the switch and throttle to get them to close proper

I bought a set from Jegs. There own brand. Put them on 2 years ago. I haven't had any problems with them.
Got the cut out pipes first. them added the electric valves later.
I love them. Fun when a ricer comes up and revs his **** box. I just
blow him out of the way.
