Penzoil

Back in the 70's it was the only oil I used in my Mopar. Good or bad? Never had a problem. Used Castrol in my air cooled motorcycles back then.
 
I've been using Penzoil for over 30 years, so far I haven't had any lubrication related issues. I've always felt its a high quality oil
 
My dad (ASE certified tech) was at a class and the presenter told his class that Castrol GTX was the best all-around oil for daily use, just my $0.02 ;)
 
Rotella T 10-30. Excellent. Plenty of zinc / phosphorous, very durable and good anti-varnish properties. Oh and its 14 - 16 dollars a gallon.
 
..........The tripple protection rotella has pretty much NO zinc.............penz is a very good oil..........kim...........
 
Penz,......Castrol,......Rotella........ All Shell product...... Just my two quarts!! lol
 
I was told many yrs. ago not to use Penzoil because it has a paraffin base, so I've always avoided using it. Valvoline, or any product from the Ashland Co. has always been my choice of oil.
 
back in the mid 70s i did some testing for car craft mag. penzoil came in #2 after castrol. but for my money their both tops in my book!
70 road runner 6 pack, bone stock 1973 national record holder et & mph. owner (vince simone) builder (my father tom chamberlin & my self al cmamberlin). set records off the gas at 1000 ft mark. cars mag champ same year.

I started using Z-ALT It is a little pricey,but the way I look at it you only change it once a year for the amount of miles we put on our Mopars so it is good oil and worth it to me! JMO.Craig.

maybe you in the north but i drive my dart twice a week year a round...

minus the occasional rain storm... lol
