IN the current National Dragster the national record is 9.77...so I dont think he would have been bombing the national record...
secondly...Super Stock cars can not set national records at NHRA national events,....only Divisional races and National Open events...
worst case if you go 1 second below your index ...you put a spot light on you for horsepower adjustment.....
