I'm trying to turn my '65 Barracuda into a Formula S clone.. At the moment it has the 273 2 bbl. I'm looking for the factory OE cast iron '64-'65 4 barrel intake and hopefully the factory carb. that fits it. Would be willing to trade an Edelbrock 318 Streetmaster with a Carter afb 9636 carb. for them.
 
Those CI OEM intakes are in the $250 range. They have 5/16 intake bolts on a angle. I guess you found out the streetmaster doesn't fit it.

Yes I found out the hard way. I had no idea the '64-'65 intakes were different. I've got a lead on a '65 Offy intake. Hopefully it's the right one.
 
Bad luck. I have one of the Offy intakes & drove right down your way a couple of weeks ago on my way through Springfield & down into Harrison Arkansas.

I have a beautifully restored 65 intake and professionally rebuilt correct for 65 carb that I will be removing soon- I am building a 340 to disquise as a 273 Commando- I paind $265 for the intake with it shipped to my house-in ugly original condition- I paid $55 for the carb plus shipping and $120 to have it rebuilt- easier to email me directly at gibw340@aol.com - They are ready to bolt on -painted correct for 65 red-
