I can't wait to see that color on an early Barracuda. Any Stripes (White or Silver would pop)? Is this the color?

that is the color or very close, I took it back and had them tint it and now it looks a lot like that right there on your jeep, seeing it on there I'm startin to like it more better :) so that will explain why I went with hemi orange on the engine rather than the red that belongs on there.i'm havin a ball detailing the parts that go to the car and will be doing a few lil' custom thing's as I go to keep it interesting...purists beware..Heh Heh heh :p

well back to the old grind...passenger side 1/4 had to be taken down to the bare metal, then d/a sand the whole car and featheredge every nick/chip and scratch...ospho all the bare metal. tape and papered the whole car and primed it with high teck direct to metal primer...tomorrow I will take a pencil and circle all the dent's dings etc. and do more hammer and dollie work to them and apply the filler, have rust issues on both 1/4 panels and tops of the front fenders that I will cut out and make patch panels for then weld them puppies in and apply filler...then I'll smoothe out all bodywork areas and reprime them and apply a guidecoat to the whole car and start blocking her out.

Pop's came home from dinner we was all sittin around the flip flop inn havin a cold beer.......He looked like a Kid with a new toy after he saw the color on it....just this morning it hadent had the outer body primed and was still in the bodywork stages...I still have to do the passenger side 1/4 panel the trunk lid hood and front valance pieces...then i'll be ready to paint the rest of her....for now i can reinstall the engine trans and suspension and get some jewelry on her........ :headbang:
the last pic is 1/4 panel in a can..they used spray foam to make it solid, shaped it then bondo' al a carte over top of it......unbelievable how long it lasted...I'll have to rebuild the trunk extension and the lower 1/4 panel from sheet metal :violent1:
