Well weather is getting good, so I thought hey, bring the cuda out. It was running great. Drove it about 40 miles, some on the freeway and the rest in town. Went to Wal-mart, when I started it up and started taking off it seemed to be missing. It is fine as long as you don't try to give it too much gas. It just seems weird that it could be running tops and them run like crap.

I would check the accelerator pump. Seems like this always happened to me after letting the car set for a little to long. Might be a piece of crappy gas that's turned to mush. Doesn't seem like gas can be stored for more than a month anymore.

Eric, that is what I am thinking. It does have electronic ign in it, and am kind of thinking it might be some where along those lines. Going to try and find time to work on it tomorrow.,

I'm thinking a check of the fuel filter is an easy one that could be the cause. As somebody said, if the car was sitting - gunk could in the gas sitting could be the problem. It could have been driving fine on the good gas, but then the gunkier gas at the bottom started to cause problems.

You know I was also thinking that too. My g/f's car wouldn't go over 40 miles per hour and if you tried to give it gas it would crap out. I cahnge a few thing, did a tune up, which helped a litte. I fiannally changed the filter and it runs great again.

Ok guys thanks for the replys. Worked on it today, tried the filter first, still the same. The got to thinking that it might just be the plugs. Sure enough changed thenm and se run as good as ever.
