I have spent hours looking at the header clearances in my 67 dart. I have come to the conclusion that the Eldebrock Alum heads have positioned the headers in a slightly different location than from stock. If I move my motor up/down, right/left it would help one side and hurt the other. If (a big if) I could somehow angle the headers inwards. In other words if there was a way to bring the header collectors closer together (1/2 in on each side) it would give me more clearance. I have considered doing the math (good old trig) and determine what angle would be necessary to give me 1/2 movement at the collector. If my tool maker friend could mill the header surfaces on a slight angle I do believe it would take care of my problem. Would be nice to have a set of header gaskets that are angled..haha.

Also, does anyone know how far the small block is offset from center. I know it is ofset towards the passenger side but I am curious how far is "factory".

Would also like to find a pair of Weld Wheels or Center lines (skinnies) with a 5 on 4 in bolt circle for the front. I kept the drum brakes (they are lighter). Unfortunatly I would need 4 1/2 inch for the rear (Dana 60).

Thanks for any replies....
