New Member - Australia!

Thanks for all your posts, guys - Can't wait to pick the car up and start checking it over (and driving it!!) I'm in a bit of a weird frame of mind with it - Having had SO many Fords over the years, I know them basically inside out. Mopars are a total mystery to me!

All these things to check keep running through my head - Does the aircon work? What gauges were there in the dash? Where can I hide a stereo headunit? How the hell do you adjust timing when the distributor is at the wrong end of the motor??

I'll work it out eventually!

ocdart - Yeah, the guy I bought it from is a cool guy, loves his cars, but he's not a brand specialist - He had Mercury Cougars, Corvettes, Plymouths, Caddillacs, lots of different stuff in his back yard. Knows a little about everything but no details. He believed me when I said the motor wasn't a 340 and was good enough to pull the air con/alternator off to check the casting stamps. He was very embarassed when I pointed out the issue.

sscuda - I'm out at Griffith all the time with my job, and a lot of my friends studied there. What is she studying?
