dyno numbers from my 340 just for reference

Its the low rpms and the too tight converter killing it. It cost too much to do but 3.55 and a 10 inch converter is what it needs.......really needs 3.91 or 4.10 but you drive it alot so, gas just cost too much, $20 gives me 90 mins running time if I don't go wild.

But i guess its 3.23...i don;t know, my 10 inch street fighter seems pretty tight at light throttle, i would not be afraid to use that. It is $500 but really comes in handy..in fact I regret now not paying $750 and get a good tight 9 inch.

The 340 got the power, just needs revs and lots of gear so it can rev up fast.3.91 gears and 27 1/4 inch tires seems about it, it had 25 1/4 tires and I feel the difference going up 2 inchs .

4.10 gears is what it really needs and that is for the street, drag racing its 4.56 or 4.88 gears. Its got a short stroke, with the right cam its 7,500 through the lights.
