Edelbrock Heads w/angled plugs and Schumacher Headers

Wanting to change out the stock heads to RPM's in a 440 and 383 currently with the Schumacher headers.
With the spark plug holes angled on the Edelbrock RPM heads, will the Shumachers still work? Maybe even better, adding more plug to header clearance? Or would that be wishful thinking?
