Thanks, so far I have been very lucky with vehicle vs. deer accidents. this was my 3rd one. The 2nd was the worst. It involved a 2003 Dodge Caravan going very slowly that sustained $4,800 in damages acquired in my attempt to avoid 3 deer standing in a very rural road. They were around a curve at the top of a hill and I avoided them by steering to the left,. Unfortunately, I steered into loose gravel on a steep grade and hit a sign post at the hood crease. The post then flew up into the air and came down on the van's roof just in front of the lift gate . I had to have the roof panel replaced becuse the impact created a 3.5" deep X 15" dent in the roof panel. Steve
