e-brake cable and driveshaft

It turns out I had the shaft in the right spot, it was the dual exhaust that was pressing the cable into the driveshaft. I loosened up the exhaust and turned the pipes slightly to relieve the pressure on the cable. Now there is about 1/4" clearance between the d shaft and the brake cable with the car sitting on its wheels. The cable is still riding on the exhaust. I guess when the car bounces up, due to bad roads, I might hear a little rubbing, but for the most part, I think I have solved the problem. We all know these early a's weren't made for dual exhaust. Just gotta live with it.
