White letters - in or out on Rallye Rims ??

-
OK so it seems letters out is the winner (no offence to the "in" guys)

Now what about trim rings.........yes or no ?? Sizzlers didn't have them and look good. I have 15x8 for the back and the rings for these are hard to find. The 7in don't really sit right, they're out a bit too far. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

If you do turn whaite letters in , try to keep them blacked out. White letters showing on the inside looks awful to me.

Sorry, should have mentioned the details:
This is the car they will be going on. Switching over to the Rallyes.
Just got the 15x8 Rallyes and will be using 275/60/15 on the rear and 215/70/14 on the front (thats what is on there now).
Looking at using the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 for all 4 spots.

Except for the fronts you and I will be running the same size. Me - 68 FB fish. The rallys are getting powdercoated today and the 275/60 M&H drag radials go on tomorrow. In front 205/70-14 Kuhmos.

All black side out.

BTW, the Cooper 255/60's just did not hook up at the track and the 60ft times were going backwards no matter what I did burnout wise.

Just bought the Radial T/A's. Nobody has the Firestone's and don't know when they will get them. I'm not waiting, the summer is just flying by !!

I'm going with the letters out and managed to get 15x8 trim rings for $35 !!
I'll post pic's in a couple days when everything is done.

The White letters take the focus off the wheel. So if you want to showcase the wheel, go Black. I personally love what you have on right now. Centerlines right?

You want to buy them LOL

They are 14's, Center Line knock off's with the old style Center Line caps, very good looking wheel though. Tires are 245/60 and 215/70, only have about 300 miles on the tires, wheels are in very good condition.
They are bit small for the back of these cars. The 275/60's will fill the big wheelwell.
Would look great on a Dart !!

To many variables. Do all 4 tires match? Do the letters look good? I've seen some that look really good, and some not so much. I turned mine in,because,#1 fronts and backs are not the same,#2 I don't like the look on one pair. What is important,is what looks good to you.

X2. Had the last set of rears I had put on my Dart turned in because the fronts were not white letters. They would have to match for me to turn them out.

OUT!

That Is Why They Have White Letters On Them... :)
