running............... now nothing...help

The easiest way and best way is to pull the left (Driver side) valve cover turn the motor clockwise watching the valves on number one,when the intake valve drops( the intake valve lines up with the intake runner) keep turning it till it closes and your mark get to 0 (tdc) or a few degree before.Stab you dist with it point to number one.
You may have to move the oil pump drive to help you get it line up and voila,start her up and set your timing with the vacuum advance not hook up of course.
