Well I am in need of lugnuts.
All the lugnuts are rusty and mismatched on my dart.
I search for lugnuts and I keep getting different options.
I want to just buy a whole set instead of buying them individually at the parts store.
I found these on ebay.

When I am looking for lugnuts what do I look for?
By that I mean what numbers/size am I looking for?

Here are some sizes I have came across searching for my 1966 Dart.
(1/2" x 20 - 3/4" or 1/2" x 20 - 13/16")

Here is everything that comes up when I search.

What do you guys suggest for lugnuts?

I like the looks of the closed end lugnuts. I currently have a few closed end and open end lugnuts on my dart but I want new matching ones.
I do see that there are a few different closed end lugnuts on ebay.
Can I just pick and choose out of the different designs or do we need a special style for our cars?

Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks!

By different styles I mean like these(All of the sizes above each picture is a link to the product):

Lastly I forgot to mention what style of wheels I am going to be using.
I am running my factory 13" steel wheel now but I am planing on upgrading to some 17" boyd coddington wheels later down the road.
These are the actual wheels:

Will I need a special lugnut(smaller lugnut) to fit in the lug holes for this wheel?

I only want to spend around $25 on a set of lugnuts.

Lastly the previous owner has changed all the wheel studs on the drivers side so that they can take regular lugnuts.

Thanks for the help guys!
Any help is appreciated!

Have you converted the passenger side studs over to RH thread?

Porksoda;
The answer to your question is maybe. Your vehicle when new should have had 10 right hand thread 7/16 x 20 and 10 left hand thread 7/16 X 20.
If you have not changed any of the studs that is what you will need. As far as the lug nuts you posted starting from the top #1, #2 and #5 will fit steel wheels and aluminum wheels with a tapered seat. Lugs 3,4 and 6 are for different thickness mag wheels and use washers.
The wheels that you showed appear to have a tapered seat and would use lug nuts #1,#3 or #5.
The next issue is the size lug nut #1 will use a 3/4 inch socket and lug nuts 2 and 5 will use a 13/16 in socket. It will have no effect on the steel wheels but you will need to be sure that the socket and lug nut will fit into the recessed holes on the aftermarket wheels.
Hope that helps.

If you have factory studs NONE of the ones shown will fit your car!!

All the A bodies I have worked on had 7/16" thread not 1/2" at least the cars prior to 1973 that were stock

Measure-- Make sure their not 7/16" - Small bolt pattern will have these, unless upgraded.
Measure-- from the end of a standard nut, installed on your wheel, to the end of stud and add height of the nut itself, + 1/8" or so clearance, to get the closed nut measurements you need.
Verify bevel degree to match stock nut.
Your mags will take a specific lug also. accurate measurements are needed here too, or contact manufacture for info, or a good wheel/tire sales company should be able to let you know what you need.

Well I feel dumb now. I should have checked my lugnuts before I posted. Well most of all my are super rusty open end lugnuts but I just remembered I had like 3 mismatched chrome acorn style lugs on the car. I pulled one off and looked and it. The nut had "7/16-20" stamped on the side. I check it with both sides of the car to make sure they are all the same and they were.
Thanks for the help guys!
