I don't know about you guys but it is starting to bother me when non A bodies start showing up on the opening page. Please don't get me wrong , this is America and you can like what ever you want and I do like some Chevy's and Ford's but this site is supposed to be For A-Bodies only. I can see if you have one of the other non- Mopars for sale and you want to sell it the more you places you place your ad the better chance you have of selling it. Where do you draw the line ? Should the name now be changed to A-bodies and what ever in the hell else you have ? Have you guys ever done a search for Chevy or Ford sites ? There must be a million of them so why do they have to flaunt them here on our site ? Nothing personal but please learn to read the name FOR A BODIES ONLY!!!!!

Agreed. I think it's just that Mopars are so much more popular that they like to come on the boards and participate. If you're lucky enough to own a Mopar, then you are part of an elite crowd. Same thing seems to happen on DodgeCharger.com when I'm over there as well. Hey, we're just popular, what can we say? :)

All I have are dodges, wth exception to the f150...but i think if someones interested in learnin more about american muscle, no matter where it be, i think it's a good thing...heck i used to be a ford guy, had a 66" mustang, but kuckily transfered over...and let's be honest, mopars are way more $$$ then chevys and fords..i'm actually thinkin' of lookin to get a 2nd generation camaro project, due to the price and difficulty in finding parts....

i'm not condonin havin chevys comin' on here and bashin by any means, can't stand trolls... and i perosnally don't like it when someones first post is sellin somethin...but i try to look at it as there mught be someone who's lookin fo rthat project/part...i mean..if someone from tampas first post was tryin to get rid of a 1981 camaro z28 with a straight body for like $1k...of course i'd be all over it..so i think everyone needs to chill and try to welcome, and maybe even convert these guys to a-body mopars....

I Unfortunately Sold My 69 340 Swinger To Buy A Super Gas Car,back In The
Eighties, before Cable T.v. Reminded Every Rich Guy What All The "tough Guys"
(like Todd On The Simpsons-...340 Duster)drove..now,for Revenge They Bought 'em All Up,and,sky-highed The Prices.now All I Have Is An 80 Cordoba That Runs Mid-14's....plus The Cordoba Web Site Died.can I Still Tune In To See What My "brothers" Are Doing?...hemi Darts Will Always Be King. I Know
That, and,so Does The Rest Of The World, but They Won't Admit It.

I agree with Wilnut, I believ people join because they love the A bodies even if they dont own one at the moment. Maybe they are just looking for the right car and trying to sell the wrong one.

Don't want to start a pi$$ing match, but it does say you are welcome to sell any kind of car you want, even if it's not an a-body mopar, on the "for sale" forum. Some guys are just trying to turn something to invest in their project car.

what about non-a body mopars?

if this was a whatever site, it would be no problem. but lets keep a body stuff, and b,c,d,e if it pertains to the subject at hand, the common ground here. what is with the 3rd gen camaro i saw on the top of the screen? those were sold as parts cars when new and always will be parts cars. if you want more variety, try moparts, moparstyle, bigblockdart, hotrod, etc. sell, buy, and discuss a bodies here. save the OTHER stuff for OTHER sites.

I dont mind seeing the other cars on here. I have friends and family that are not Mopar folks that may be interested in these cars....

i would think the Penta-star in the name "for a bodies only.com" should be a clue..
..and the picture gallery eludes to mopars also
....so that eliminates any ideas of a GM a body
in the fuzzieness of the computer, i thought i could see a camero in the
photo's across the top and this thread confirmed it, i'm glad we're "PC"
or the aclu will get us, now let's us go join and post at their sites......nawwww

I think it's funny that someone who has been here less than a year with less than 20 posts would even think that they know how to run this site better than the people who do.

Relax, it's just an internet forum. Don't get your panties in a bunch. If you don't want to look at something that is posted here then don't. There are plenty of other things to look at.

I love Mopars, not just a bodies, always have always will, but I'm not close minded to x brands either, our family car when I was a kid was a 68 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed, so I love Chevelles too.

I just love old muscle cars period.

I also respect the fact this is a a bodies mopar site and act accordingly, it's pretty easy actually :)

take a look on tampa graigslist Wilnutt...there were a couple of 2nd gen F bodies kinda cheap.

the 3rd gen F body camaro u refer to is probly mine and if the administrator wants it gone thats fine, but i come to this group as a Mopar lover and i participate!
i might know more about them than you do and i do own an A body Dart also. this group is not ONLY about the car. this group IS about the cameraderie of car OWNERS and helping eachother out with that love!
i grew up in HEMI MOPARS! my Dad had Mopar stock and when everybody was selling it in the 80`s and you couldn`t even sell it for 5 dollars MY DAD was buying all he could! the stock went back up to about $40. a share and then it split! then it went back up to $40 and well over!
we cheered King Richard Petty who was a friend of Dads, Dad also knew Andy Granatelli (ever hear of STP? ...no, not the band!)
my Dad and friends raced HEMI boats! we watched Big Daddy Win too!
Dad used to brag during moonshots; "there goes that big Chrysler Redstone!"
...did u know the spacelaunch rocket engines were made by Chrysler?
i have 2 cars for sale here. a 71 Dart and ones a chevy. if i sell either of them to a member here and it pleases us both that will be great! and i`ll spend the money buying another! probly an A-body, but i know of a kinda sweet Charger i can get too...
anyways, no need to be so rude, jus cause u ain gettin any!

oh and i personally have owned well over 150 Mopars...titled and tagged drivers...Darts, Demons, Dusters, Scamps, Valiants, S-type A body Cudas, converts, notchbacks, fastbacks, 4 speeds, GT, GTS, SuperBee`s Chargers, Coronets, Furys...i`ll stop there, but the list goes on and on! when my oldest son graduated high school we built him an E body 72 Barracuda from spare parts we had lying around, body and all. hardly had to buy a thing except paint! he`s 33 now, has 2 kids of his own and sold his Barracuda for a down payment on a house!
so please don`t bash on me for posting my Camaro for sale!

Whee wee! That's the last time I have a few cold ones and get on here. Sure seems to have pissed a few of you off !!! I'm really going to get some you pissed off now. I only go to the Chrysler's at Carlisle show. No bashing intended just stating some facts. I'm going to try sell my Intrepid on some CHevy site !

Geez, I owned or currently own a car from just about every platform built by Mopar in the 60's and 70's(A, B, C, D, E, F, L, M, P, R, ???). I think it's ok to have a variety of influences here. And I would think that a Chevelle guy would look around here and nervously leave quickly finding the forum full of A body Dodges and Plymouths and not A body GM's.
Since I'm not the forum owner or moderator or anyone of great influence, I'll skip the Shltty stuff and read what I want.
Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just my opinion.

the difference is that i didn`t join this site to sell anything!
the owner of Big Block Dart site was discontinuing anyone selling anything on that site...i think he got tired of the whiners bob!

Well, when I joined, I didn't have an A body. I owned a Datsun 280ZX with a 350 chevy in it. I joined to get some insite into the nuances of the A bodies, so I could make an educated choice when I purchased one. I am still trying to sell my Datsun, but I will not put it on a Mopar site to sell it. I have gone to the Datsun/Nissan sites to try. Only makes sense, doesn't it?

Joey.C and AdamR has every thing going perfectly on this great site.
We have converted a few corvette people here that I know of
and they
Think the info here make's it easy on there way to the mopar side.
Vettvickery has sold his vett and picked up a charger and is know a proud mopar owner,
Yep I say anyone that takes a look at this site and likes it should chime in
and enjoy. :toothy7:

I treat it like the TV if there is something that I have no interest in I don't tune in. Some of the non-mopar stuff is advertising and you have to pay for something with something. I just don't look at it and move on. One of the things that make this site great is the balance of different kind of people with different kinds of experieces that they share, being Mopar, GM, Ford or whatever. I myself was a Buick GS guy before I bought my Mopar in '91 so I have all of that experience to share if someone happens to mention something about it. I really like my Mopars but the world would be very boring if it was only Mopars (or GM, Ford, whatever).
