Hector thats the 1/4 panel seam,should,ve been filled with lead.Unless the 1/4,s were replaced at some time in it,s lifetime.Here,s pics of my 1/4 that was just replaced.Just fill it back in with kitty hair(multched fiberglass)and continue your work.Good luck.
