300-400 is out of my league. Harold found a way to do more than 30 sets for 180 shipped, how? Sell 'em in kit form? 400 is steep for this poor design without changes. Its the only drop in option for many though. Good luck.
Maybe he wasn't charging enough? And maybe that is why he was apparently such a PITA to deal with. Perhaps too busy working 2-3 other jobs just to support his headers for charity habit. I don't know the first thing about building headers and what it costs, nor have I ever done business with Harold. I imagine it is labor intensive work though.
I wonder if Commando66's contact would be willing to sell that jig and setup? Maybe we could find somebody more interested in building these? I would certainly like a set for my early-A and would consider buying several sets if it would inspire more confidence in the person building them.
