I saw this on craigslist -> http://southbend.craigslist.org/cto/2569464895.html

Up for sale is my 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible. It is a slant 6 automatic on the column. This is a project car that I started and did quite a bit of work to, but have too many other projects to finish, so I'm looking at selling it. It is partially disassembled and I have all the parts. The car has the engine, transmission and running gear on it, but is not currently drivable. I have the following new parts that go with the vehicle:

- Front fender
- Both rear quarters
- Front and rear bumpers (re-chromed)
- New tires
- The transmission has been checked by a professional shop and given a clean bill of health.
- The electricals seem to be fine and I have not had to do anything there.
- I have quite a bit of extra trim and other parts that I got from a parts car.

I have $4500.00 dollars into the car. This is a very solid restorable car. Floor is solid with no rust and the doors are very solid as well. Most of the rust was in the fenders and I have replacements for them. The original top comes with it, but will need to be replaced. You can see a few more photos here: http://s308.photobucket.com/albums/kk333/sklump01/valiant/?albumview=slideshow

You can call me at 574-289-9797 or email at: pwhite989@gmail.com with questions or if you would like to see the vehicle.

Amazingly little rust on the floors and engine compartment for a South Bend car. I used to live there. Maybe the floor-boards were replaced or it was always garaged and not driven on salt-infested winter roads.
