Thats quite the challange you've given yourself. I always thought those cars were butt ugly, but thats why I love 'em so much. I felt the same way about my '66 Cuda before I started on it. After 2+ years in the garage with it, now that its done, I can't stop looking at it.
I call it the "Stop for 1, stay 'til 2" syndrome. At 2am after a few of these :drinkers: even the ugly ones start lookin good. But now when I get up in the morning, she's just as beautiful as when I put her to bed. lol
The hood looks awesome, and judging from what you've done so far with the rest of the car, I have no doubt it will be one nice cruiser when finished. Good luck with the build, I'll be watching this one.
