Very Nice Dart, I like the color too, Either carb sould be fine, if it was me I might save some $$ and just rebuild the carb you have, you said it runs fine but leaks, rebuild kits are under $50.00. JMO

Either rebuild the factory 625 or get the 600 eddy, for what you have a 750 is just too much.

BTW, That is a beautiful car!!

i just dont want to buy an undersized carb---with all the discounts // the 600 elderbrock performer will be $ 225 new.----is it a quality product ?? isn't it the same as my carter afb ?

with the discounts--the 600 performer is $225 new--is the performer a quality product ?? isnt my afb carter the same basic carb ? thanks

225.00 doesn't seem bad for a new carb if it has the elec. choke.

You could contact Demonsizzler, a member here who rebuilds carbs. He can bush the throttle shafts so they do not leak.

do yo all agree that a 750 is to big of carb for my application, it will cost $100 for me to fix my current carb // id rather buy new

The 625 is a great carb, and would be hard not to use. If I remember right, parts are getting harder to find for them. They do not use the same metering rods ect as the performers.

However, if you want a great bolt on carb for your aplication, go with the Eddie 600.
Pretty much bolt on and go right out of the box for the 318.Clean and crisp carb.
I ran one on my 360, and it ran great. Ended up going with a 750 for a little more top end.

Stock linkage is also a breeze with the Chrysler throttle adapter.

Nice ride by the way !!!

I would go with a 625 and jet as needed is a good fit electric choke model for a Mopar.

PS nice great car:)
