OK I got my paint scheme figured out how to paint my 62 Wagon, just don't know if I like the Green and Black or Green and Grey.
please look at them and let me know what you all think?

I think the grey looks more classy and the black looks more muscle just what you want out of it.I nod toward the grey.
 
What shade of green?I am not big on green but, I would think green and black would look better.

If you like a darker green,check out lexus jade green.It is a three stage color,it is pricey.That, with a gun metal.Just my .02.
 
Green is a death color imo... Wife had a green Saturn and it was hit 6 times. Blends in with the scenery to well and people don't notice as much. Just sayn'! Your car-your choice.
 
tough call.......dont think the black looks good
so I vote green and grey, I think it has more class
 
I do like that Viper Green and black. Well another question is what do you all think of the paint scheme with the two tone ?

I'm at gray.
It will be more forgiving in the "Splash Zone" of the car than black.
Black will show every spalsh, chip, dust and dirt. Especially in that area of the car.
But hey,
Do what makes you happy!! That's what's important!!

I agree gray or Silver = Classy
Black = Muscle and alot of cleaning!

Also check out a 74 mopar color; G8 Deep Serwood Irid. It's a really cool green. I've shot it before and really liked the color. If you use that shade of green though, I change my vote to Black. Some colors work better with each other that some others.
Get some paint chips and stare at them everywhere you go for a week. By then the colors and the car will tell you what to do.
 
I love the 2 tone idea. Green can go so many ways, there are so many different shades and hues. Just not the dark 90s green that seemed to be on every car built in that decade. I had a $800 94 Bonneville that color before the wagon (got rear ended 4 times in 18 months) thing was uglier than sin (don't mind watching sin myself)

There are a lot of nice Greens out there though, and I agree on the black showing all the dirt and dings.
 
I agree that the green/grey combo is more classic/nostalgic. The green/black is more hot-rod or modern looking. I prefer the green/grey. Good luck!

Is that the color of your car. I really do like that color and that will look really good with the grey
 
I like the two tone , prefer the green / grey . And i also agree black is the car color that gets hit , my work truck is a little black Toyota and i get hit way too much .
 
Reading the thread it looks firmly green/grey, but the poll has green/black by a small margin
 
The latest poll show it tied. Just my luck I cannot even get a general concensus of what looks better. I still torn between the two I like them both
