cleaning up my spare room, found the duster model I started on about 15 years ago (when I was driving my Duster originally)-had the paint and trim done, the stripes on, the 'vinyl roof' done...

edit- I ain't even gonna try painting that sucker- it was bad enough masking off a full-size one lol.

Hey Shafe... Ever send them rallye wheels? I know you were getting ready to, just wanted to make sure they werent lost in the mail or something.. its getting chilly out and Im getting the itch to start on the miniature Bills Buggy.. lol

these are old but were given to me when I went to pa to visit my aunt
 
grills are easy to paint thin out some flat black brush entire center of grill then take moist paper towel and wipe paint off high areas if you want chrome dull spray with dull coat after black dries.

Thin the paint with some thinner?

glad you are happy with it, i will sent the slant 6 and the other wheels as soon as i figure out how to fabricate the stand for the engine

i love the backdrop of the saloon in the backround
 
Back in day when I was actively building I would add black paint to thinner and lightly brush it on chrome parts to bring out the highlights

Maybe the chrome plating was different then I never had a problem with it turning it white. But experiment on scrap plastic before you attempt it on a part you are going to use
