I want to put new wheels and tires on my 73 duster

I want some fat meats on the back but i dont know what size do go with

I think i want to stick around 15" rims but as far as how wide the rim should be i have no idea.

advice and pics would be awesome!

Generally, when there's no replies, it's members silently saying "do a search first". Nothing personal, but you can't believe how many folks come on the board and just want quick answers w/o doing homework.

It gets tedious. Oh, and no offense to you.

BTW, you could most likely get away with 15X7 in front and 15X8 in the rear. You'll need to also search proper back spacing and appropriate tire size too.

I'm not a Duster guy, but that's what's on my GTS. I recall reading that the Dusters had pretty good clearance in the rear. Do a search and you'll most likely find your answer(s).

Just my .02

I have 15x8" in the rear w/275-60x15 tires and 15x6" in the front w/215-65x15 tires. I had 15x7 w/215-70x15 in the front but they rubbed.

If you really want big "meats" then you must mini tub it and move the springs under the frame rails. At least get some of DR Diffs offset spring hangers. Here is a picture of my Barracuda wirh 15X 27.5 X 12 drag radials

Thanks guys. I did end up doing some homework after no replies for a while.
I'll be doing that first from now on.

I was mostly looking for pictures with size to get an idea of what each size would look like.

I really like the 15x8 in the rear holmes, not too big, and it doesn't look out of place and small like my stock wheels. Thanks so much guys!

These are 15x8.5 with 275/60/15 on the rear and 14x6 with 225/70/14 on the front. The rear back space is 4 inches.
