I think this might be a little extreme...... I managed to pull the 273/ 904 out of my 67, and drop in the 360/ 727 without tipping it off the hoist.

Ditto swapping the 7 1/4 for the Ford 9" and spring work.

IN FACT I checked it as I was doing the pull, and found no problem
