72 Demon build.

Isn't that a 71 front end?

Yep, '71 Grille/Bumper.

I wonder if MoparDemon got the "year" off the title? I know some states will title a vehicle for the year it was sold. Like if that '71 stayed on the lot until 1972, it would be titled as a '72 Demon instead.

Or it could be a mid-year car, right as they were changing over to the '72 Front Clip style demons. I've seen a few oddball vehicles like that before. I had an '86 Ram 50 that was built in August and it was a "1st Generation" body style, and i had an '86 Ram 50 that was built in July but it was a "2nd Generation" body style (mid '86 they changed over to the '87 / 2nd gen body. But my 1st gen was 1 month newer than the 2nd gen)

I've also seen the same thing happen on A-Bodies too.

EDIT :

Or it could have been wrecked and the parts were replaced, anything is possible when a car is almost 40 years old
