Unless you have pop up pistons (dome) you'd be better off with the 60177 63 CC head (closed chamber) because you'll have better quench. I have the closed chameber 60177 head on my 340 but I also have flat top pistons.
My 340 short block is already assembled w TRW 2316s that stick .015 above the deck. Kinda limits me to open chambered heads. I would like to try some RHS heads but they wont work on this engine, Mabe on the stroker.
