17" Streeter rims on 69 Barracuda?

Has anyone tried these rims? I look the looks of the rims but am not sure about the 4.25 backspacing. Will this clear the fenders and suspension?

 
Hey Joe,
Can you give me the specs on your wheels and tires? I want to put some modern wheels and tires on my Swinger and I have always liked the stance of your car. My suspension is stock except for a 2" lowering block in the back.

This particular rim is only available in 7" width. They have some other rims that come in an 8" width. I read some other posts where it sounded like at least 5" backspacing was needed on a Barracuda? There are not many options with the 4" bolt pattern.

Your car looks great - I like the rims. What are they?
 
I know djvcuda put a 17x7 with 4 1/4 backspace all the way around on his 66 cuda. His is 4 1/2 bolt pattern though. Not sure how much a difference that would make.


My wheels are just mustard knock offs from WWW.americanmuscle.com.

17x8 with a 5.72 backspace. May need spaces for a stock suspension car.

Let me see if I can find the thread with all the info about fitting them.
 
We just started selling the Show wheel line this week. They seem to be a great buy for the money. Yes a 17x7 will work. If you need some more info just shoot me a PM.
