Nothing turns my head away at a car show or cruise night quicker than big rims with low profile tires on a classic car.
And nothing makes me lose interest at a car show or cruise night than another car with 14" rims, unless it's an original Mini.
For me, restorations got old about 10 years ago. I don't know how guys look at the same old cars, the same way they came from the factory, over and over, year after year. I'm 46, and I've seen enough stock/restored Chevies, Fords, Mopars, and so on to last a few lifetimes. I've seen just about everything the factories have ever offered, and I don't need to see it again and again. There's nothing interesting to me about
one more set of 14" Rallyes. Nothing wrong with Rallyes, but they aren't worth admiring, either.
Show me something new, creative, or interesting, regardless of the make and model. Otherwise, I'll find better things to look at.
