Well my friend has asked me to help him sell his highly optioned Dart Sport. I will get the VIN# and all the fender tag info on Sunday for sure to post all the options the car has. It is a highly optioned car that has two fender tags and is a Triple Black car with a 340 and a sunroof. Black paint, Black interior and a Black vinyl roof. It is running and can be driven anywhere. Here are the only two pictures I have at the moment. I will post more on Sunday and provide the price as I will see him and the car on Sunday. Let me know if you have any questions about the car and I will answer them as best I can. Thank you. Eddie

located in so. calif area presently in Lakewood at another friends house and I believe one repaint the original color. It still has the chalk marks in the engine compartment on the firewall.

I am going over there about 11:30am pacific time to get more pictures, info and price. I will have all of that later on today. The car is 85 miles from me.

Okay I have all the info and pictures galore. It was repainted the original black color on a rust free body a while ago. Paint is still good but could use a buffing and a coat of wax. The vinyl top has a couple of spot of rust above the front windshield only as you can see by the pictures but in no way soft and has not came through the vinyl top. The sunroof to my knowledge does not open and it does not leak water. My friend did not want to force it open. The engine is original numbers matching 340 and transmission is the original 727 also that was completely rebuilt. The engine is standard bore and was taken apart to check it out and the bore was still in great shape so we honed cylinders and installed new piston rings and rod and main bearings too. A new camshaft and bearings were installed. Cam is a custom ground by Clay Smith Engineering (Mr. Horsepower the woodpecker sticker) with a lift no more then .470 on a type lobe center. New high flow water pump. LD340 intake and I believe a 750 vac. secondary carb. New Headman headers. The transmission was completely rebuilt with a mild shift kit and a redone convertor. Front disc breaks and rear drums brakes were completely redone along with the master cylinder. The power steering gear box was fully rebuilt. The heater and A/C is all there and complete but it needs freon. Car has cop car wheels with dog dish hub caps and the tires are almost new. Car drives done the road great and does not wonder and has a good sound out of the exhaust. Engine compartment is in original condition as you can tell but pictures except for the air cleaner which we have the original orange 340 air cleaner and we also have the original exhaust manifolds. It has an 8 1/4 rearend with a posi with 3.21 gears. Asking price is $7,000.00 which is respectable for what condition and how original the car is but don't be afraid to make an offer. Here are some pictures. The VIN# is LM29Hxxxxxxxx and there are two fender tag pictures also.

group of pictures # 2 first picture show chalk mark from the factory. The front seats has some splits in the seams and the carpets is in real good shape. Like I said the car has no rust or bondo. All the lights and gauges work.

The last group of pictures. Forgot to mention the door panels are in great shape with no holes cut for speakers.

Rare combo....340, A/C, buckets, fold down rear seat, sunroof in a black car.

Cool.

there looks to be some striping on the front end when we were doing the engine we noticed it on the front panel above the grille area down into the engine compartment area above the radiator. Kinda like a black matte. Possibly noticeable on the panel where the wiper arms are too.

Very Nice...rare combo....hopefully a member will swoop it up and do something with it.

Looks alot like my 74 Dart Sport I recently acquired:

I would have your friend seriously take a look and consider Soupene's Belvedere.
The car is extremely clean, great condition and easily worth the same if not a little more than what you friend is asking. Soupene's cars are always in great condition as he is very good and knowledgeable at restoration.

Here's a link to the beauty:

He is not interested in a trade. If I owned the car I would trade as I like the Belvedere body style better then the Duster style body but my friend is an e-body guy and he needs the money to pay some medical bills.
