Duster Quarter Window Popout window seal replacment advice

I just did this myself. Those rivet looking things are like roll pins that have a flat head on one side and are flared on the other. I took a small hammer and chisel and knocked off the flared part. A cut-off wheel standing upright works as well to grind it off. Once this is done, they will come out. Then drill out the hole on the stainless part to 3/16. The hole in the steel portion should be 3/16 already. Replace your rubber. You have to rivet from both sides with this method, but it seems to hold real tight. Use 3/16 rivet obviously. Use a small punch to move the rubber out of the way to get the rivets down. FYI. I now have to drill my rivets back out and replace the felt that goes in the front part of the glass in between the stainless trim. Part # 2932230. The process was actually pretty easy. Hope this helps
