Hi, I have a 74 dart I'm starting to part out with a blue interior. I will check the wheel. I have a 73 duster wheel to see if they are the same. I work out of town alot and have promised other guys parts. how big of a hurry are you in? Walt

I have a nice steering wheel and horn button from my 73 Duster, it is tan. Car had 72,000 miles, Let me know!

 Robert, sorry about the wheel, they are different, the 74 is the blue one and it has a crack at 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock. I tryed to move it to see if it would break but they must have a steel rod inside. i'm sure you don't want it. The 73 tan duster wheel is perfect from an honest 43k car, but wrong color. I thought they would be the same wheel. thanks, and sorry again. WALT:sad:

Hey thanks anyway. I'll probably keep looking for a blue one for at least awhile longer. After that, I may have to back up and punt.

Thanks again,
Robert

Robert, I installed a grant imitation tuff wheel, with the now available plymouth logo in the center. The logo was about 18.00. YOu might want to stay original though. Walt (I think the wheel was about 60.00)

Walt, the Grant wheel sounds like a possibility. Don't really care about staying original since I'm already not in several other areas. Where did you get yours? How about installation? Any problems?

Thanks,
Robert

I got it at auto zone or one of the other big parts chains. they had a grant book and I picked my wheel out of it and the horn button with logo and they ordered it. Installation was simple. YOu will need a gear puller, the kind you pull a harmonic balancer with, (screws instead of jaws), If I remember correctly. The main thing on all of these little jobs to your car is TAKE YOUR TIME SO YOU DON'T BREAK ANYTHING, I LEARNED THAT 4 YEARS AGO WHEN I HAD A SCREW DRIVER CUT MY DOOR COVERINGs.Now i take my time, as parts are hard to find. Walt :toothy7:

Dustertogo, I was looking at ebay and found this. I remembered seeing your post and thought I would try and help out. I think I would go with the Grant wheel after seeing the price they want for this one. I guess the "e" in ebay stands for EXPENSIVE on this item.

BLUE STEERING WHEEL

Summit sells the full range of Grant wheels and adaptors.I've used the Grant "challenger" on my cuda, challenger and valiant ute.It looks like a tuff wheel but is 1" smaller in diameter at 14".
