I've had constant ringing in my ears for many years too. I blame it on the textile mill.
My family doctor said injecting novicane directly into the blood stream would stop the ringing for a few hours but there was no perminant cure.
About a year ago there was a episode of The Doctors tv show that showcased a new technique.. They were suplimenting sound at frequencies which would fool the brain.
I didn't understand all the details. There is hope though.
