By the looks of it you don't need any more upgrade parts to make it faster, I think with a tune-up it will have more than enough power. Adjusting the initial timing takes about 10 minutes, should be around 10-12* BTDC on your engine. If you take off the air cleaner, does the carburetor look like this:
