Before I changed the gasket I spent some quality time with a hammer flattening out the gasket surface.
Then I torqued it down to 70 in-lbs and it leaked. I read a post on dodgeforum.com that called for 96 in-lbs so I just re-torqued to 100 in-lbs. Will update this weekend.
