I'm looking at a car with a section of the frame that's pretty rusty,could I weld a plate on both sides to make it safe?

here, i just put a frame rail in a fm3 duster. it looks hard, but it is not if you have the tools. i will never patch on again. and, if you buy an origional out of a parts car, they fit almost perfect. crackedback on here sells them at a nice price.

check out my thread on doing one. i did it myself,a nd turned out perfect. no other way to fix it but to replace it. like they told me. done right, gone forever
