Hey Sports Fans!! I am in the search of a good smallblock motor. 318, 340 or 360. As long as it's complete. Running would be nice but not important. No junk or boat anchors. Got enough of those!! Big thing is I'd like to find one relatively close to me. Around Harrisburg, PA area is preffered. I'll travel to find one if have to as long as it's not halfway across the country. Been finding a bunch of good stuff in the midwest and southwest but no way to get there or get the stuff back here. Any one close to me with one or more of these engines please get back to me. Cash talks and have some to spend!! Even a good running 273 would be kool to play with. Let me know!!

I know I'm not in PA (or anywhere close actually), but I do have a complete 1974 360 for sale. Info on the engine is here

I have a shipper that I've used several times, and can crate and deliver the engine to the docks (cheaper than a pick up). Shipping shouldn't be much over $200, especially if you can pick it up from a shipping terminal. Not sure what you're looking to spend total, but I'm pretty negotiable on the price for the engine at this point. Don't need it and could use the space!

Appreciate your input. Let me see what turns up closer. If no results than I'll give you a second look. Kool with you?

Just check out craigslist I see a ton of stuff in PA lots of $200-300 running 360s.

Very. Having shipped a couple of engines I know its a lot easier to deal with them if they're local.

Just a shameless plug! :D

:hello1:

Hey SOMEBODY has to want a nice complete '74 360 core! :D

I'd rather sell it here than deal with putting it on Craigslist and haggling with a dozen people on the phone that won't even show up, even if it means I have to load it up and drive it to the docks on the other side of town!

I've got a fresh 340 for sale. I'm in Central NJ and can meet you part way if it works out. Let me know if you would be interested and I can give you more details on the build. The intake and carb in the picture have been sold so won't be part of the deal.

I have a magnum 360 motor ran when pulled out of a 95 ram 2500. It is complete throttle body to oil pan. I tore it down for storage about 2 years ago and haven't touched it since. I'm in central pennsylvania.

Hello Cuda Guy,
Heres a thought, I have a 1967 273 Super Commando Motor out of a Barracuda that was rebuilt before i got it in my 1972 Duster. The motor runs good with one little problem, it has blow by. I havent done anything to try and figure out why but i do know that I am getting ready to get a fresh built 340 motor right after christmas, so I will be removing the motor soon. I will most likey remove some of the parts for that motor like valve covers, intake, and starter and alternator, but I would willing to work with you also, I am not sure what it is worth but call me and we can talk more, I live in Howell Michigan not to far from you, i can send vidoe of motor running and any picture you want.

Well Folks,,,I found my motor. I appreciate all the offers I've been given on here. Wish I had the funds to buy all the motors that were offered. You guys have some great deals. But fortunately I found an engine that's real close to me. It's a 340 block that's virgin bore and in good shape. 70 model year. So I've made my choice. Came with a lot of parts like aluminum intakes, extra carbs, brand new purple shaft 509 cam and lifters, springs, and also new Carter electric fuel pump. Even got a set of Formula S black crinkle valve covers. Once again I thank all who answered. Now I am on the search for a decent set of fenderwell headers for my 66 Barracuda. I'll be posting a new thread for that search. Today is my 50th birthday so it's time to sit back and relax and watch the final NASCAR race. Go Carl Edwards!! See ya!!!!!

Hope all works out for you, good luck with the 340 Build, I too am looking forward to installing my 340 come Christmas time here in Michigan, if any one is looking for a good 273 commando please let me know and we can work out a good deal.

Thanks
