pushrods size

When I decked and shaved my 318 I went to ace hardware and bought .030 brass shim stocc and cut squares the size of the pedestals and drilled 1/2 in holes in the center for the bolts and the ends to oil and this corrected me back to factory geometry.Bes thing is it cost about 2 bucks. the brass conforms nicely to the shaft and the pedestal and compensates for what the machinist takes off. You can getb this brass shim in different thicknesses depending on what was removed.:read2:
