how do I tell what kind of cam and lifters i have?

cool thanks, and what about the cam? id say its stock, but the motor looks rebuilt so i have no clue if it was changed (just bought the motor second hand)

its fine to run hyd. lifters with either a flat tappet or roller cam as long as its a hydraulic cam right?
