1973 and up Duster mod Idea

It's been a while since I have been on, I have been dwelling on an idea that I am considering for my duster. It would involve cutting the bottom half off of the 73-76 bumper off and welding in a flat bottom and then fabricating a lower panel like a Demon has. I sketched up a picture that I will try to post later so everyone can get an idea, I also have a 70 rear bumper that I intend to install, am I crazy? What do you guys think?
